The successful candidate will:
• Manage acute and elective anaesthesia • Have the ability to develop and maintain effective clinical systems • Will require experience in wide range of Anaesthesia procedures • Have experience in supervision and teaching of junior medical staff • Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team • Experience in the development and maintenance of links with surgeons and other medical practitioners in the region • Experience in the development and maintenance of clinical audit Business / Technical
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise as a consultant Anaesthetist.
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Anaesthesiology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Anaesthesiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
