Consultant General Physician

This idyllic town with its charming atmosphere requires someone passionate to bring their general medical expertise and experience to an acute secondary care hospital and contribute to the advance care of acute inpatients and outpatients in the region, as part of an existing team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in General/Internal Medicine
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Internal Medicine
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
