Consultant Radiologist with Nuclear medicine specialism
Unique opportunity in the Otago region of the South Island with its beautiful natural landscape and its vibrant wildlife to work not only in a new hospital but be a part of the development of a new and innovative department responsible for the introduction of new procedures and nuclear medicine imaging.
You will be providing reporting services for Nuclear Medicine, general CT, MRI, SPECT-CT and other radionuclide imaging reporting and administrative duties to support the service. There is the possibility there will be a PET scanner and reporting for this would also fall under the applicant's scope.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in general scope of skills including MRI and CT
Subspecialty interests in nuclear medicine required
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
