Dermatology Senior Medical Officer

Located in the upper North Island and located on the banks of the Waikato River, this growing city has one of the largest hospitals in New Zealand.  This region is the perfect base to use as a gate way to explore and enjoy what New Zealand has to offer.

Position Overview:

Looking for a specialist dermatology consultant who has a board range of skills and enjoys providing supervision.  This role is predominately an outpatient service for patients, covering adult medical, paediatric and subspeciality clinics, phototherapy, patch testing and minor surgical procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience and expertise in Dermatology

Subspecialty interests will be considered.

Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Dermatology

Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Dermatology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

 

Working in New Zealand

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:

Annual leave: 6 weeks

CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks

$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.

Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.

Assistance with relocation.
