Electrophysiology Cardiologist Specialist

The second largest city in the north island, situated along the banks of the Waikato River, Hamilton offers a unique combination of urban convenience and natural charm.

The Waikato is looking for an experience Cardiologist to work in all aspect of cardiac electrophysiology, including EP studies, ablation (RF, PFA and Cryo), 3D mapping (CARTO), the full range of device implants, outpatient clinics and ward management. You will work with a highly experienced EP team in one of the leading centres in NZ.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience and expertise in Cardiology / Electrophysiology

Subspecialty interests will be considered.

Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Cardiology

Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Cardiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:

Annual leave: 6 weeks

CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks

$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.

Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.
