Gastroenterologist

Position Overview:
The role will cover outpatient gastroscopy and colonoscopy, ERCP, liver elastography, outpatient clinical care, inpatient gastroenterology care and bowel cancer screening services to the 180,000 people in the district. This environment provides excellent opportunities for both teaching and research opportunies should you wish.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise as a Gastroenterologist
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Gastroenterology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Gastroenterology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
