Haematologist

Position Overview:
This full-time position is to join an established team of seven and four residents. Based in the local hospital with clinical responsibilities in one or more regions covered by the regional cancer treatment Service. The Department maintains an active clinical research portfolio including clinical trials. The service is an approved FRACP training centre and undertakes active postgraduate teaching at House Officer, Senior House Officer and Registrar level.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in clinical Haematology
Subspecialty interests will be considered, ideally in Haemato-Oncology
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Haematology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Haematologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
