Interventional /General Radiologist

This opportunity for an interventional Radiology based primarily in Tauranga but with supporting commitments in Whakatane – another coastal town very close to Ohope, with its beautiful long beaches and safe swimming gives someone the chance to achieve an ideal lifestyle.
The General Radiology work would comprise of ultrasound, MDCT, angiography and a range of interventional procedures. A special interest in Paediatric and/or Chest imaging would be beneficial, though all areas of subspecialty interest would be considered.
The interventional work would include a wide range of Vascular, Oncology and General IR procedures. All peripheral vascular procedures in the hospital are provided by the Interventional Radiology team and endovascular aortic aneurysm repairs are performed in conjunction with the Vascular service. There is also a range of Interventional Oncology procedures performed including trans-arterial embolisation and percutaneous ablation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
Subspecialty interests will be considered as outlined above
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in general and interventional Radiology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
