Working for Health New Zealand in a region that has traditionally outsourced their Ophthalmology service, do you want to be the consultant establishing an Ophthalmology in house. You would be working closely with existing links to colleagues in the Wellington regions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Ophthalmology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Ophthalmology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
