Paediatric Surgeon

Working in New Zealand's primary Paediatric hospital based in Auckland,the city of sails,  this role will be perfect for those who have worked with a broad range of childhood illness and injuries and there varying degrees of complexity. You will participate in acute and elective surgical services as part of a structured team contributing to the delivery of inpatient and outpatient care.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience and expertise as a Paediatric Surgeon

Subspecialty interests will be considered.

Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Paediatrics

Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Paediatrician with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:

Annual leave: 6 weeks

CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks

$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.

Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.
