Consultant Orthopeadic Surgeon

FT Permanent position or 1 year Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon to join the established and enthusiastic team. To be eligible you must be a vocationally registered surgeon to and able to work up to 1.0 FTE, however there is the option of a fixed term appointment. The service has a highly functioning orthopedic unit. As a member of the Orthopedic team you will be one of four Orthopedic Surgeons in the unit which provides a comprehensive public and in private orthopedic service for the population. An interest in arthroplasty would be an advantage. There is an on-call requirement to this role, afterhours through the week and over the weekend. This is managed from within the team.

Applicants must be eligible for Vocational Scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
